As educational entitlements and their associated funding come to an end, many young adults with disabilities still require ongoing services and support. In this workshop, participants will explore strategies for extending special education services until the age of 21.
Additionally, the workshop will cover key topics such as SSI, guardianship, and other legal strategies that offer varying levels of support and protection. Speakers will also discuss SSI, Medicaid eligibility, Medicaid Waivers, DDD, DVRS, and both day and residential services. Participants will be introduced to assessment and service planning tools, including the NJCAT.
This 90-minute presentation includes time for a Q&A.
